In Portlaw 26 lucky people won the lotto. The total amount was one million four hundred and eighty two thousand three hundred and fifty nine pounds was divided between 26 people. It was in our local shop Nick Fogartys . He picked out all the names of the numbers.

All of money was won on a Wednesday evening. All the 26 people and their families went to Nick Fogarty's house to celebrate. On that Friday all the winners went to Dublin on a bus. On the bus there was a reporter who was talking to nearly everyone on the bus. It was all over the news and papers. Nick Fogarty gave one thousand pound to all the pubs in Portlaw so they all had free drink for the night.
