A branch of the N.P.C. was formed in the school in 1996 with the help of local facilitator Ms. Fionnuala O’Shea. The parents have been very active since the formation of the council. Monthly meetings are held in the school and the parents have undertaken many projects. A number of fund-raising events have enabled the purchase of a C.D. player, a Talking Globe, books, computer software and a complete set of books for our resource teacher. The Parents undertook the arduous task of catering for the guests at the official opening of the new extension to the school, and made it a day to remember.

Several successful cabaret nights have been held and also a couple of Fashion Shows.  This school year the Parents have subsidized  swimming lessons for the children
