Our school was successful in its renewal of the Green Flag.  The pupils of the school have worked hard over the last few years to ensure that we kept our Green Flag flying over the school.  Ms. Celine Horner came to the school and she was very impressed with the work which was been carried out and as a result we were awarded another Green flag.
The green flag was presented to us on Friday June 14th 2002 by County Mayor Ciarán O' Riain.  Also present were members of Waterford County Council.
Our local councillor and past pupil Paudi Coffey spoke to the pupils and local television Waterford @8 came to the presentation.

Our committee showed the many visitors around the school and presented them with a paper log which can be burned during the winter. The committee consisted of
Teachers; Ms. Cotter, Mrs. Hally
Ruth Howley, Aimee Nolan, Darren Rockett, Carrie Walsh, Kate Henebry, Shane Foran and Michelle Hallissey.

Thanks to everyone who helped to achieve our green flag status once again.
