Tree Planting

Last year we planted Cherry Blossom trees at the front of our school for National Tree Week.

Every class planted a tree so we had eight trees altogether . We also planted an extra tree in memory of Keith Power , a past pupil who died in 1996 . Every class had their picture taken while planting the trees . As well as planting the trees we also planted shrubs around them .

This year we planted over a hundred Sycamore and Beech trees at the back of our school . Some of the trees were vandalised but were quickly replaced with new ones . Our caretaker waters the trees every day . We hope that the trees will still be there when we are older .
