Don Conroy the television presenter and wildlife artist visited our school on June 24th.
He came to present prizes to 3rd and 4th classes as we had entered the Esso Inspired by Nature 2002 art and collage competition.
Shannen Power was an area winner in the art competition and
Natalie Moore was a collage winner.
Don entertained the class with his funny stories and drew lovely pictures for us. Everyone was presented with a wildlife book and a cuddly tiger
He also donated a "magic" mountain ash tree to our school. We planted the tree in our front garden and it will remind us of his visit to our school.
We hope he visits us again in the future.
