On Friday March 1st the Sam Maguire cup visited the school. We were very grateful to Mr. Niall Rooney for arranging the visit. Niall is a cousin of the Fahy brothers who were members of the Galway team which won the All Ireland football last September. The cup visited all the classrooms and many future captains practiced holding the cup aloft!!
Hopefully the next time the cup visits the school it will have the victorious Waterford colours attached!!
