Our links are second to none and there are few places in the World where you will find accessible quality courses at budget fees. There is an array of quiet parkland courses throughout the County, including one here in Ballina, where visitors are always welcome.
Within a 40-mile radius of Red River Lodge there are 2 Championship Links (one just up the road from Red River Lodge in Enniscrone, and the 2nd at Rosses Point in Sligo. West of Ballina is the new exciting course at Carne, Belmullet, (approx. 1 hr. drive) designed by Eddie Hackett. Even Hugh Grant couldn’t resist the lure of Enniscrone & Carne when he flew in by helicopter for a quiet weekend golfing. Westport & Strandhill are two other popular links all within a 1hr. drive.
