  • Tour 3

This is a beautiful drive with lots of mountain and sea cliff views. Achill is a wonderful gem just off the west coast of Mayo and is the largest Island in Ireland. You can drive on to the Island as it is connected to the mainland by bridge. This tour also features a famine site and the ruins of the 15th century pirate Queen, Grainne Uaile’s castle.

  • Tour 4

A Mix of Mystical & Magical. Sligo or ‘Yeats Country’ is only a short 40 minutes drive from Red River Lodge. This is a beautiful scenic county with sculpted limestone ridges, ancient stone-age sites, sacred celtic sites, some of which are the oldest and most significant in Europe, along with Carnac in France. It is little wonder this county, rich in legends and folklore, inspired Ireland’s Nobel Prize winning Poet W.B. Yeats. Visit the places Yeats referred to, such as, Sleuth Wood (Slish Wood) in the Stolen Child, or The Isle of Innisfree, Hazlewood and of course Glencar Waterfall, to name just a few.
