Hilditch, Clarence - 1926 - 1927
| |
United's first player- manager, Clarence Hilditch stepped into the breach after the controversial departure of John Chapman.
His time as manager was brief, and he remained in the job only until the appointment of Herbert Bamlett. He then returned to the playing ranks until 1932, when he joined the coaching staff.
