Brief:-
I Was asked to design a new apartment building on a plot of
land on the grounds of Rosary College, Springdale road, Dublin 5. The typical
cost of a unit will be in the region of £200,000 and the style and appearance
of the building should reflect this expense.
My client requires a minimum of twenty apartments, with each floor to have
a mix of two-bedroom and single-bedroom apartments in the ratio of 3:2. Due
to the planning restrictions, the maximum allowable height for the proposed
building is 4 stories. The building must meet the requirements of all relevant
fire regulations. An appropriate level of car parking and outdoor space must
be provided as defined in the local development plan. Particular attention
should be paid to exterior finishes and materials.
