She was sister of Sarah Nicholson Horton Meeks. (per Bible records)If Sarah Nicholson [Horton] Meeks was mother of Daniel Meeks, and AnnNicholson Broas was mother of Sarah Broas, then Daniel and Sarah werefirst cousins who had child Ira Meeks. (Or, they were at least "stepfirst cousins" if Sarah Nicholson was actually the 2nd wife of EdwardMeeks.)
Ann / Nancy was apparently the "female age 60-70" in the Jesse BROSShousehold on the 1840 Enfield census. Then in 1850, we find "Nancy"living in the James BROAS household (age 78), and we know that she waswidowed in 1847, so she moved in with her son James after that.James was living next door to his father's house in Enfield c1840, soshe didn't move far. In 1840, Ann's brother Joshua NICHOLSON wasliving a few doors from Jesse "BROSS" and James "BROSS" according tothe census.
[1305] Nancy was shown in James Broas' household on the 1850 census. She was78, so was born abt. 1771. She is probably the mother of James.
