The Club is posting all competitions and entry forms on the
club notice board. It is the responsibility of each player
to ensure that he/she is entered for all competitions. Entries
required for the following competitions in the next few weeks:

A reminder that entries for the Irish Nationals, with fees,
must be in the possession of Comhairle Liathróid Láimhe
na hÉireann by Wednesday 6 February.
· Community Games Girls and boys' teams for U13
and U15 on 1/8/2002.
· County Doubles.
· Gael Linn mixed Doubles.
· County B Championships.
On Saturday
2nd February, in Glenbeigh Handball Court the second phase of
the 40 x 20 County Championships took place. Boys and Girls
from ages U14 to U17 took part in the singles County Championships.
The U14 and U15 boys' finals were not played as some preliminary
rounds had to be postponed. The winners and runners-up were
as follows:
U14 Girls:

Runner-up: Karen Lawlor: Tralee.
This was a great game and went to three games to be decided.
U16 Boys:

The boy's
U14 and U15s singles will be completed next weekend as well
as the doubles for all age groups. These games will commence
in Glenbeigh at 11.00 on Saturday 9th February.
Intervarsity
Handball Championships
Institute Technology Tralee is hosting the Intervarsity Handball
Championships on the 8th, 9th and 10th February. It is expected
that a 100 players will take part and our courts will be used
on the Friday and Saturday. It should be a very enjoyable weekend
for everyone interested in Handball. The IT Tralee will be represented
by Clive Counihan, Aidan O Donoghue, Stephen McSwiney and Johnny
Griffin from our Club.
