Ciaran's Lego

I enjoyed Lego because it was fun and ver exciting. I was very happy when our teacher told me I had to built Mullinahone our village. I really learned a lot about computers and about the Lego. The best part of the project was when we were finished.

My school and I are doing a Lego project.
At the start of Lego I thought it was really hard but now I think its easy. We started Lego a few months ago and we're still not 100% sure of it.
In the middle of the project we visited Kilkenny Education Centre. There were two other schools there, Ballyadams N.S. and Clontubrid N.S. We went in groups and made a car and we programmed it. After lunch we made a spider and we called it "Super Spider".
Back at school I decided to make a spider because in Kilkenny Education Centre I built a spider with my friends. We programmed the spider to go foward and then turn in a full circle.
We visited lots of places with the Lego and my favourite place was the Young Scientists Exhibition in the R.D.S in Dublin. When we were there we saw lots of Lego projects. We got lots of ideas there.

When we came back we went in groups to make a car follow a black line. My partner was Richard. We used light senors to read the degrees on the black and on the white. We tried to program it to follow the black line and when it went on the white it would turn back onto the black. We tried that but it kept getting confused because there were white marks on the black line. So we got an adult to paint it. It was perfect. Next we put a white line on the big black line. It finally worked. After that we decided to make Mullinahone village and its surrounding areas with the Lego. My partner Richard and I built Mullinahone while other people built other areas.

When we are finished the project we are going to Dublin to show our project to the children and we make and other schools that were involved with the Lego and we will see their projects.
