Eoin's Lego.

The best thing about the project was when I found out that I was doing the bridge. The bridge was great fun to work on. I only finished the model on Thursday. It took a lot of paint and patience. I did it with my friend Niall. The bridge works and looks great.

When the lego arrived at the school I said "Great, something new". Our teacher told us that we were one of the 13 schools in Ireland with the project. The other thing that made me like lego was time off school. It was a big challenge. We had good craic. When I saw all the little bits I said "WOW!". It nearly took us two hours to sort out the lego. Other people didn't like lego because it was so hard. I thought it was a hard challenge.
When we started building lego I made a car with my friend James. After the car, we had to make models out of these yellow boxes. The yellow boxes were made up of Wheels and Axles, Gears, Pulleys and Levers. We were doing these yellow boxes for a few weeks.
Then we went to the Education Centre in Kilkenny. There were two other schools with us. One school was from Kilkenny the other was from Laois.
When we got back from Kilkenny we had to build an animal. Sean and I built a spider. When we finished the spider we found about the Mullinahone Area project. I was sick for a few weeks at the start of the project.
When I was better I found out that I had to make C.J Kickham. I knew that it was going to take me a long time. I started C.J Kickham it took me nearly a month to make it. Then the hard bit came. We had to make him follow the road. While I was doing this the hole model broke. I had to make it again. It wasn't strong enough the second time so I had to break it up again. Third time lucky! I made the model the third time it worked. It follows the road and looks great.
I made one more thing-a draw bridge. It lifts up and goes down again. It's cool. James helped me. It works and looks good.

Lego is great fun.
