RICHARD'S LEGO

Overall I enjoyed the Lego project because it was good craic and we got to build and program. However at times I didn't enjoy it because sometimes I spent ages building stuff and then it broke.

My school heard about lego Robotics Invention System.
We decided to try it out.
We learned that the lego model can move and light up with an RCX.
To move it needs a motor and to light up it needs a mini bulb.

When we got the Lego we just started to make models out of the Yellow Boxes, the starter kits. We then started to program robots to move back and foward and to turn around and stuff.
We then had to build something that would not break if we threw it on the ground.
I made a car and tried to program it to follow a road with light sensors. It was harder than I thought. I could not get it to work so I had to get someone to help me. We made the car again and we programmed it but it didn't work.
We made the car again but this time we did not program it because we found out that we did not need the car so we broke it up and I had nothing to do so I helped Ciaran with a car and the town.
We first started by building a shop, a garage, a church and a fire station for the town.

We stopped making the town and worked on the car for a while. We made the car stronger and we tried to program it but it did not work.

We now have a swimming pool, a toilet, two houses and a hurling pitch for the town. Our car is very strong but the gears are not right so we have to make the car again. Lego is fun. I hope that we will complete our project soon.
