Moving Eyes

Europe

I think that the idea of a "European Union" is the best thing since the slice pan.  The idea that so many different nations come together and help each other out is a good idea, however it should be kept in check.  What l mean by that is that its a good idea as long as the countries associated with it do not loose there independence, and become directly controlled by the organization there a member of.  We would end up in an USA / Federal type system, which, l suppose, has its good points, but, in my opinion, has far more bad points.  Some could argue, and quite well too, that the EU are a lot closer to that system than many people think, l tend to agree in a lot of respects, but l would disagree in a lot of ways as well.  I think the EU is more of a half way house between the two. I also think that the EU is well on its way to becoming a Federal State, but a more ethical and morale federal state than America.

I'll have to do quite a bit of work on this section, but I'll think l can get a good section up, and hopefully l will get some good feedback.  What l also plan to do is to share some commonly asked for information about the EU on these pages.

Just in case you are wondering what the white band in the top corner is for, then it is a link to a website that is trying to make poverty history as soon as possible, if anyone wants to know what they are about then click on this link, or this link, or this link, to see some film. Then you can decide for yourself if you want a white band on your website.  You might also get a blocked content notice from your browser.  This is due to the white band, and is nothing to worry about.  You can look at the code of this page, if you really want, to check it out for yourself.

Just remember that this site is still under construction, and not all elements are here yet, especially pictures.  So please bear with me for the moment.
