Moving Eyes

Movies

I Love good movies, like The Shawshank Redemption, and especially comedies like Alien Vs Predator, and Freddy Vs Jason.  The only problem about them is that there easily predictable, so that takes some of the fun out of them.  I hope that they make a sequel to Alien Vs Predator, because they left it wide open for one, plus it wasn't bad either.  I wonder if they would make a sequel to Freddy Vs Jason, maybe bring in leather face, and put him into the mix, it would be interesting to watch.  Well if anyone wants a good project to do then there you go!  I've just recently watched School Of Rock on DVD, and for any of you rockers out there you should definitely get it.  Its very funny, and there are some great tracks on it, especially Zeppelins Immigrant Song, and if you get the DVD, look at Jack Blacks thing to Led Zeppelin, It is brilliant. The songs that the school played were good as well.  I hope that they bring out a compilation of all the songs they used in the movie, that would be cool.  Two other great music movies was (or, should l say is) The Commitments and The Blues Brothers, I think the soundtrack was awesome and l would definitely buy them.  I wonder if the Commitments would reform, they could call themselves the Committed, or something like that.  They were a really good band, and Rob Strong had some set of pipes on him.

The Opening Picture of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest"I saw War of the Worlds, its an ok movie. What really made it good were the special FX, they were class, especially the robots, and the thunder.  I'd love to listen to the Orson Wells radio version, it was supposed to have been unreal.  Apparently it caused widespread panic in America I have to try and find it somewhere, its probably on E-bay, or somewhere like that.  I'll have to search the net and I'll let to know you where it is if l can find it.  I was an extra in Braveheart, which l thought was a good enough movie, especially at the end where he gets his guts ripped out.  Just in case you are wondering, yes l do like gory, wanton violence and destruction.  I've just after seen The Terminal, with Tom Hanks.  Its a good movie, and it has a couple of laughs in it, but if you want a good laugh then the movie I'd get is Meet The Fockers,  I thought that Dustin Hoffman was very funny in it, especially Dustin's son's name in it, Gaylord Focker.  Although l haven't seen all of it yet, but what l did see of it, which is the vast majority, its very funny.  The first DVD that l ever got was "Dude, Where's my Car", which l though was the biggest pile of rubbish that l have ever seen.  It was as funny as been wanked by Edward Scissorhand, raped by Jack The Ripper, or fingered by Dr Hook, (which would make for an interesting night out).

RivendallI've also just seen Master and Commander, the far side of the world.  It was an ok movie, but it dragged on for a bit too long, and some scene's should have been left out of it altogether.   I've also just seen the borat film.  It was funny if you see it for the first time, I also found it quite sick, and disturbing.  The Great Escape is another great movie, as well as Zulu.  I'm starting to download a lot of movies as well, the site l use is isohunt.com, which l find great!  They'll provide you with all the movies that you could possibly think of, and others that you wouldn't have.

I'll have to put up a couple of pictures to put on this website, hopefully l can get some from the Internet, we'll have to see what we can find (or scrounge up).  I might even see if l can pull one or two from the DVD's themselves.  I'll see what l could do, no promise's though.

Just in case you are wondering what the white band in the top corner is for, then it is a link to a website that is trying to make poverty history as soon as possible, if anyone wants to know what they are about then click on this link, or this link, or this link, to see some film. Then you can decide for yourself if you want a white band on your website.  You might also get a blocked content notice from your browser.  This is due to the white band, and is nothing to worry about.  You can look at the code of this page, if you really want, to check it out for yourself.

Just remember that this site is still under construction, and not all elements are here yet, especially pictures.  So please bear with me for the moment.
