Dalkey addition/Irish Hard Grit
Ronan Browner recently consolidated his position as the most prolific new routing activist in Dalkey in the past five years with his ascent of the direct finish of Chomolungma, graded E6 6b/c.
Already given the cheeky title of 'Without Oxygen' by some, this adds a hard, bouldery finish to an already tough route.
Keeping it hard over in the Peak District Donie O'Sullivan
and Niall Grimes have both recently 'headpointed' The End Of The Affair E8
6c at Curbar Edge, riding the wave of recent hard
gritstone ascents over there. Are these the first Irish ascents of trad E8??
