is Leaving Certificate Applied
- A Two Year Practical Programme
- Students
apply the learning they gain to practical educational tasks at school, in
the work place and in the wider community.
- A
Set Course – all students do the same subjects
- 1 day work experience per week.

– not a points system

gain credits over the course of the two years

Final
exam accounts for one third of total marks

How to Enter the Course
After
Easter in third year students are given information about Leaving Certficate
Applied and Application form are filled in. An information night for
parents is held in conjunction with the Senior Options Information Night.
An interview follows.
