General Information

The Meitheal Scheme is in operation in the school whereby some Sixth Year students are trained in leadership skills so that they can support First Year students when they come in to the school.

Students sit two formal examinations per year (December and May/June).

Comprehensive reports are posted home following each examination. In addition progress reports are issued in early November.

Parent-teacher meetings take place annually for each Year Group.

Student attendance is monitored on a daily basis.

Students may avail of Supervised Study from 4.20p.m. – 6.20 p.m., Monday to Thursday.

Students who remain on the school premises during lunchtime are supervised.

Lockers are available to students.

“C.B.S. News”, the school newsletter is published periodically throughout the school year.

The Department of Education’s Free Book Scheme is administered annually in the school.

Friday 9.00 a.m. - 1.15 p.m.
Morning Break 11.00 a.m. - 11.15 p.m.
Lunch 1.15 p.m. - 2.00 p.m.
