knew everyone’s name. The standard of teaching was superb
and even extended beyond normal school hours’.
Vincent Kent completed
his Bachelor of Medicine degree course at T.C.D. in 2000 and
is currently practicing medicine in Omagh.
‘I truly feel the opportunity to perform in school musicals
at such an early age was both an encouraging and inspiring boost.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to study Music to Leaving
Certificate level. For somebody with a musical interest the
school would be highly recommended’.
Kevin Kennedy completed
his Bachelor of Music degree at U.C.D. in 2002. He is a member
of the R.T.E. Philharmonic Symphony Choir and has also been
the musical director of five pantomimes and several ‘Tops
Groups’.
‘Through the support and encouragement of everybody in
the C.B.S., staff and students, I grew in confidence and achievements.
I very much enjoyed my time in the C.B.S.
Samantha Keane graduated
from Trinity College with a BAI Degree in Civil, Structural
& Environmental Engineering in 2001. She is currently working
as a Resident Engineer with Wicklow County Council.
‘Looking back on my time in the C.B.S. I feel the musicals
and sports teams ensured everyone’s involvement. The variety
of subjects taught by the very helpful and cheerful staff created
a good learning environment. They certainly were the best days
of my life’.
Enda Cummins is currently
lecturing and completing a Ph.D course in Agricultural and Food
Engineering in U.C.D. He is also a founder member of ‘Agri-Tech.
Solutions Ltd.’, an agricultural consultancy company.
