AN BOSCA CEOIL

Our club began this academic year and we have just completed our second session of ten lessons. In the club we have 9 dedicated members drawn from 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes. Each of the boys has his own instrument which were purchased by their parents.

As a consequence all the boys are making very good progress, as each is required to do 10 minutes practice every day. We are following the "Sedlon" accordion course which starts with simple well known tunes such as "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Merrily we roll along".

The tunes done so far are in Keys C, G and F. All the tunes are being taught with correct chord changes, and with emphasis on correct fingering and timing. We are working towards setting up a school band with new "recruits" being drafted in from next years 2nd class.
