North Down International
Connor Murphy riding for the first time in the senior team Ireland colours had his best result to date by finishing second in the North Down International road race in Bangor last Saturday. Connor got in to a break on the third lap with thirteen other riders . The race made very hard with strong winds throughout was split to pieces by Murphy and Tommy Evans riding for the N.I Commonwealth team on the eighth and final lap of an11.5 mile circuit . Evans tried and failed to drop Murphy but eventually took the sprint with Murphy finishing a close second well done Connor . Results 1.Tommy Evans N.I Comonweath 2nd Connor Murphy ( Team Ireland ) 3rd David Mc Cann (N.I Comonwealth ) at 1.26 .

Aughnacloy Festival
Jonathan Gormley took the ten man sprint to win Aughnacloy Festival race sponsored by the Rossmore pub main street Aughnacloy. Jonathan only back in training after his exams is showing good form and with plenty of races to come should get alot more prizes Results 1st Jonathan Gormley 2nd Paul Mulligan (Omagh ) 3rd Paul Brady (Mc Quaid Tyres). Paul Brady also took third place on Sunday in the Cycleways LeeStrand GP in Co Kildaire in the 3rds ,Vets ,and Junior race .So all in all it was a good week for our racing men asnd may they have maney more good results this year.

Junior Tour
Paul Brady has been rewarded for his good performances all year by being selected for the U.C.F team to ride the Junior Tour which start on 6th of Augest .Micheal Holland will also be taking part in this 5 day event so it has been a long time since 2of our members have taken part in it together 1986 to be persice .

Underage
This weeks underage race is in Robinstown Co Meath starting time is 11 o'clock Senior race starts at1 o'clock

Touring
Sunday spins continue this Sunday Leaving Emyvale at 9.30 sharp. Get well soon goes to Paul Hughes on him breaking a bone in his foot,
