We have here an extensive
word-list of Donegal Irish in Dictionary format. This work was compiled by the
editor in 1993/4 using an old MS DOS word processor, using original manuscript
sources from folklore archives in
This is believed to be the first Irish Language Dictionary to be produced exclusively by computer and probably the first to be produced directly and exclusively from primary manuscript sources without intervening paperwork of any kind! The process used was exclusively developed and copyrighted by the author. This dictionary includes meanings and definitions entirely in the Irish language.

This is a huge amount of fascinating folklore material written in the 1950's by Seán Ó Caoimh, a native of Cnoc na Faille, Cappaquin, to Seán Ó Súilleabháin of the Folklore Commission.
