Repeating the Leaving
If you don't get the results you want you can always repeat. It's not as bad as it seems. 17 is a young age to be going to college and you'll benefit from extra maturity when you're 18. You'll almost certainly get higher points second time round - you can drop any subjects you don't like (including Irish, English and Maths) and you can devote the entire year to study.
