Accommodation
For a student who does not live within commuting distance of a college, the problems of finding suitable accommodation are very real. Will there be enough places? What will it cost? What can I expect by way of standards? What will be expected of me?
    The major choice is between:
  • Staying with a family (digs) on a partial basis
  • Staying in a flat or rented house and tking care of yourself
  • On campus
house
Your largest outgoing is for accommodation so it makes sense to start planning your budget now. If you are looking to join the merry student world next academic year then why not plan ahead now and ring up the accommodation officer of your prospective University and ask them the average rent and be one step ahead.
