UK Colleges (UCAS)
The English college admissions system is quite different to the Irish way. For a start, you'll have to apply a lot earlier. The main difference is in choosing courses. You can only put 6 down, and they'll have to be related in some way. You can't just put down, say, Pharmacy, Law and Business Studies. You'll also have to write a 1 page essay on what interests you about these courses and why you would be a good student. Then each college you've listed will send you back the grades you'll need before they'll accept you on this course. College A might say two honours Cs and a pass B etc. For more information ask your career guidance teacher.
