10-09-2012: Message from ISRS/ WDSL.
Please note the following:
There has been a change of rules with regard to hop ball situations. You cannot score directly from them any more, but player can take a second touch and score from this.
Referees are supposed to be paid before games, not after. This has always been the case but perhaps you would like to mention this to all your managers.
There is no increase in the fees charged by Referees this season.
In the event of a no-show by a visiting team the full amount is payable by the home team. The excess paid is retrievable from the WDSL who will pursue the balance from the other team. This has also been the case for a long time.
In the event of a Referee calling a game off they are due half the fee for that age group plus five euros.
If a Referee has left to travel to a game and has not been notified by that club/team that a game has been called off, the fees are still due to said Referee.

06-09-2012: Table Quiz.

They are holding a raffle on the night also so if anyone can donate or sponsor prizes, please get in touch. Our fundraising committee have launched a 'Buy a Brick' campaign to further our plans to renovate the old pavilion building. This will allow us to provide top class changing facilities for the teams using the Temple Sportsfield. Members will be issued with sponsorship cards of 20 lines, each 'brick' costs €2.50. We will have a wall in the new facility where all contributors will have their name inscribed. Managers are asked to collect the packs from their pigeon-holes and distribute the cards as soon as possible. Cards should be returned by 11th March 2012. This is our club and you are helping to improve and develop it for everyone now and in the future.
