21-03-2010: League, Shield successes.
U10B claimed runners-up spot in League Division One this weekend. The race for the title came down to the final game where Wolfe Tone B drew 3-3 with Wicklow Rovers A. The team finished two points behind Wicklow Town A with a record as follows: Played 12, Won 9, Drew 1 and lost 2, scoring 27 goals on the way.
Also this weekend, Wolfe Tone u11A and u13 secured Shield semi-final slots.
Well done to everyone concerned and best wishes to all our teams still involved in Shield, League and Cup competitions.
17-03-2010: St. Patricks Day Parade.

12-03-2010: St. Patricks Day Parade.
Wolfe Tone Youth Club will be participating in the Bray St. Patricks day Parade on Wednesday. We will meet at the Club at 2.00, departing for the Parade at 2.15. Children will wear their club gear and we hope to see a big turnout. Make some noise for Wolfe Tone Youth Club!
27-02-2010: Pitches destroyed by joyriders.
All games were called off in the Temple Sportsfield this weekend after the pitches were destroyed by joyriders on Friday night. Extensive damage was done, especially to the small-sided pitch. U8's, U10's and U14's all had games cancelled as a result. The club is waiting on Bray Council to fence the pitch and finally end this anti-social vandalism. We would ask parents to please contact their local elected representatives to highlight the delay in getting the fence up.

12-02-2010: U9 Futsal Blitz.
For attention of u9 managers and assistants:
WDSL Futsal Blitz for U9 teams - 27/28 Feb 2010 (sponsored by Azzurri Sports)
We would like to invite all WDSL clubs to register teams to the WDSL Futsal Blitz for teams in the U9 age group, open for girls and boys born 2000 and younger.
Rules and Conditions:
- We will play in halls in Bray and Arklow
- The blitz will take place on the weekend of Feb 27/28
- The blitz is non-competitive
- All matches will be played over 10 or 13 minutes, depending on the number of teams.
- All teams will play a minimum of 3 matches on the weekend (teams do not need to spend more than 90 minutes at the venue)
- Squads should have about 7 players, but not more than 9 players
- The blitz is free of charge
- Match schedules will be published on Feb 21st, 2010.
11-02-10 Important managers meeting.
The next manager's meeting which is on Tuesday next, 16th February at 8pm will include a presentation on the club's plans for the development of the field and building. All managers and assistants should attend to familiarise themselves with the clubs plans for the immediate future.

Best of luck to our u9a team who take on Ashford away on Sunday at 11.00 in a League Division 2 decider. Wolfe Tone A have 21 points from 8 games, just behind Ashford who have 22 points from 9 games. We wish them all the best as they chase the League crown.

11-01-2010: Ballywaltrim Lotto.
In a new fundraising venture, the club has joined the Ballywaltrim Lotto. Tickets cost 2 Euro and will be distributed to members weekly by managers. All Lotto tickets should be returned to James's Office by Wednesday evening each week. The draw takes place on Thursday and we will post the weekly results here. We ask you to please give this great opportunity your full support.
11-01-2010: Alliance League Rules.
Click here for rules of the upcoming Alliance League. The League is run between Wicklow (WDSL), Kildare (KFL) and South Dublin (SDFL) Leagues. This season it is being run at u14's but from next season will involve all 11-a-side Premier Leagues. Managers should familiarise themselves with the rules.

The various 11-a-side Shield competitions will begin on weekend 16th-17th January. The line-ups are as follows:
